Only small cats and dogs up to 8 kg (17 lbs) can be taken into the cabin, at a fee. Your pet should be transported in a cage of maximum dimensions equal to 45cm x 30cm x 35cm. You can put this under the seat in front of you.
The following conditions must be fulfilled before carriage is permitted:
Pets must be healthy and their owners must produce a number of documents at check-in. These should be in English. The pets’ health booklets must confirm that the pet has had all necessary shots and that it bears a microchip. Furthermore, for international trips, pets must have a passport.
Pets must remain in their cages, safely locked and placed on the floor, throughout the entire flight. Moreover, there must be no risk of leaks from the cage and pets must wear muzzles.
All animals must be quiet and should not upset other passengers during the flight and they must be clean and able to be checked.
If you wish to take your pet with you in the cabin, you should make your reservation by telephone at least 48 hours in advance, as the number of pets allowed on each flight is limited.
Furthermore, the Reservation Department will inform pet owners of the fee applicable.
Guide-dogs for the blind or deaf are carried free of charge, but you must notify us that your guide-dog will be accompanying you when you book your flight.
If you wish to transport any other kind of animal, please contact our cargo department.
* Pets are not allowed on flights to/from any London airport.
