More information on physically challenged passengers
Hellenic Imperial Airways offers special facilities and assistance for passengers with limited mobility to ensure everybody has a safe and pleasant journey.
Wheelchairs are carried free of charge and are not counted as part of the standard baggage allowance. Special assistance is available for hearing and visually impaired passengers and elderly passengers at check-in and during the boarding process. In order to provide such assistance, passengers must call Hellenic Imperial Airways’ reservations department and request it accordingly when booking their flight. The same procedure must be followed for reservations made online through the Hellenic Imperial website.
If there is a health problem, or if you have recently undergone surgery, you should consult your doctor before flying. You will also need to fill in a medical form, in communication with the ticket office where you have made your booking, which, must be completed by the passenger and the attending physician and signed accordingly. The signed form must be send to the ticket office where the booking has been made, so that in communication with the company's doctor approval for the passenger's transportation may be given, depending on the passenger's condition.
