Useful hints about how to get to the airport
The easiest way to reach Rome centre or the airport is the Terravision shuttle bus connecting the airport to Rome Termini Railway Station. Tickets cost € 8,00 one way; € 13,50 round trip.

By car: Roma Ciampino airport is located on the Via Appia Nuova , 15 km from the centre of Rome.
It is a short distance from the Rome city ring road ( GRA ) and from the main road system of the NORTH-SOUTH and EAST-WEST motorways, and can be reached: for those coming from Rome : Via Appia Nuova in the direction of “Castelli Romani”, for those coming from Fiumicino airport : Fiumicino/Rome motorway – GRA ring road – Via Appia – Via Appia Nuova in the direction of “Castelli Romani”, for those coming from the motorways : Exit Roma Sud – GRA ring road – Via Appia Nuova in the direction of “Castelli Romani”, for those coming from the South of the Lazio region : Via Appia Nuova in the direction of Rome.
Bus: To get to the airport from the city (and vice versa) please take the Terravision bus (Roma Termini central station – Roma Ciampino airport). Service is in connection with flights. Tickets: € 8,00 one way; € 13,50 round trip. Tickets can be purchased from boxes booth at Ciampino airport (in front of arrivals hall) or at the Royal Santina Hotel at Termini station (Via Marsala 22).
Bus / Train: To get to the airport from the city (and vice versa) you may take the subway + the Cotral bus (Line A, Anagnina station – Roma Ciampino airport). Bus stops are situated outside Airport Arrivals Area.
Taxi: The taxi park is located opposite the Arrivals Hall . We advise you to use only authorized taxis: vehicles that have a taximeter. In addition to current standard fares, supplements for luggage and for night-time and/or public holidays trips are possible.
Parking: The 1900 parking spaces for cars and motorbikes available for arriving or departing passengers and visitors at the “G. B. Pastine” Airport at Roma Ciampino, give a real measurement of an airport correctly referred to as “easy”. Eight spaces located opposite the terminal are reserved for disabled drivers.
