Remember it is your responsibility to have valid travel documents.
Every country has its own rules for visitors of various nationalities. When visiting certain countries, for example, your passport has to be valid for at least another six months following your return to Greece. Certain countries also require a visa. You can request a visa from the embassy of the country you will be visiting; some countries grant visas upon your arrival.
Before your flight, all passengers must present the necessary travel documents concerning their exit from the country of departure, their entrance to the country of arrival, and their movement within the latter. They also have to fully abide with health regulations in force, which are defined by the regulations and the relevant legal provisions, as well as any condition set nationally (by the country of departure or destination). Hellenic Imperial Airways has the right to retain copies of the data/documents considered necessary for the company.
Children travelling abroad need their passport as the document of identification for travel purposes. For flights within the EU, the identity card is also acceptable. For domestic flights, you are advised to carry a health booklet, passport or identity card of the children, to make their identification possible, if deemed necessary.
In order to prevent any discomfort or delay for you and or your fellow passengers, note that passengers with expired, damaged or invalid documents will not be accepted to board on Hellenic Imperial Airways flights.
For more information concerning passports and visas, please consult the embassy of your country of destination.
