Hellenic Imperial Airways to charter for TUI/Hapag Lloyd (10/5/2010)
While the volcanic ash cloud created no-fly zones in Europe, thousands of passenger were stranded at airports all over Northern and Western Europe. A large amount of travellers who were unable to travel during this period, end of April, were safely transported by Hellenic Imperial Airways on behalf of TUI/ Hapag Lloyd.
Hellenic Imperial Airways' Boeing 747 with its high capacity allowed 450 passengers to reach their destination.
